There is a very interesting military musem in Brussells, with a large and fascinating Aviation section. If you are lucky (enthusiasm for egineering helps here) you could get a look in the restoration workshops.
I don't have details of this place, but I could probably get them. Well worth a vist if you fancy a trip on the magic carpet - Eurostar.
