Hi from an oldie!
Hi.
Lived through the war as a schoolboy. Met jerries secret weapon, the Butterfly bomb. Worked as a Naval Messenger at the Grimsby naval base HMS Beaver. National Service in the Royal Artillery on 3.7 ack ack. Not long after demob, I signed on in the Royal Air Force. Worked on Lincolns and Canberra's with 617 Squadron (The Dam Busters) Worked in the food industry as elect supervisor. Served thirty years as a Warrant Officer in Air Cadets, they gave me a Medal to go with my Malayan GSM. Put a bit of time in at the local aviation museum and do a bit of caravanning. Ken |
