I need help to identify what make and model of 'fire engine' Manchester Airport have acquired.

I'm not certain what manufacturers still exist in the UK.
Reynolds Boughton are still listed, as are Carmichael (Simon Gloster Saro 'folded' but sort of continues as Fire Vehicle Services repairing all makes).

Of course there's Rosenbauer (based in Austria, but also in Germany and the USA I believe). It seems that Angloco represent Rosenbauer in the UK.

If anyone has information about any of the above I would be grateful to read it - I have been 'out-of-the-loop' for nigh on 20 years now . . .

What other makes of Airfield crash tenders are there across the World?

Oshkosh I suppose . . .

I've been pointed towards a BBC account of the above 'preparations' which includes a photograph of the 'huge fire engine' - which turns out to be a 'civilian' turntable ladder (30metres) which is to reach over whatever obstruction:-
One of the engines has a new 30m extending ladder which can be pulled out over inflated emergency exit chutes, enabling firefighters to reach levels that conventional ladders don't reach.
